I Sent An e-Blast But The Emails Weren't Delivered Right Away. Why?

Last Updated: Aug 18, 2012 06:10PM EDT
Our current shared server allows a maximum of 250 outgoing emails/hour.

When you send an e-blast from within your Prospect Master Investment Center, the emails are queued in our database and released at a reasonable rate of 4 emails/minute (or 240 emails/hour). Thus, an e-blast to a list of 100 bird dogs will take a minimum of 40 minutes to finish sending.

Full-fledged email capability is very resource intensive, so while e-blasts may not be immediately delivered to your entire list, our current setup ensures high stability and makes sure no emails get lost.

If you need to send an e-blast that's extremely time-sensitive, we recommend choosing one of two options:

1) Performing an export of your bird dogs' email addresses and sending the email from your dedicated client (e.g. Gmail, Yahoo Mail, MS Outlook, etc)

2) If you're currently maintaining your bird dog contact list in an autoresponder service such as Aweber, you can create a "broadcast" message from there
